i think the Jags game could'nt of come at a better time for the passing game/RW to get his 1st half MOJO back not that it was ever really gone but he started slow. I think everyone could see that something was a little off maybe he was trying to hard and played tight or they were just good defenses either way it took him a little bit to get into the game. I think this game was a almost like a full speed scrimage but it was good for Wilson and the WR's to get those TD's early in the game becuase of the slow starts they had previously. So i hope this game got Wilson back to the Wilson we saw lighting it up at the end of last season.

im not too worried about wilson but i do think this was good for him. he seems to be a little off, but in the sense of him not being as good as RW can be, not in the sense that hes playing poorly. i didnt follow training camp too close, anyone know how RW played against our secondary? curious if that helps or hurts a guys confidence playing against elite talent in practice, i imagine its no walk in the park in that competitive atmosphere.

I agree w/ the importance of this game being a bit easier but more so for the O as a whole to get their timing and execution as a TEAM down. The whole O has just seemed a bit off early on and I feel this will build some confidence going forward kind of like that easy stretch we had last year.

My soccer team in my native country had a year where they dominated opponents but could not freaking score a goal. They would have like 20 shots towards goal and miss about 18 of them and the other two were saved by the goalie. Would have the ball 60%+ in every single game.

Then came a few weeks break in the schedule (world cup I think) and they scheduled exhibition games with teams like 5 division below them. Won every game with like 10-0. Got the guys confident and then regular season started scored 2 to 3 goals in every game for the rest of the season and won the championship that year.

Point being - I agree OP 100% sometimes you need those cupcake games to just get into it and feeling good about what you are doing, clicking with the other guys on the team and I think the game helped a lot
