For some reason, the end of the Atlanta game was not heartbreaking to me. I wasn't heartbroken until about a week later when the next game began. The St. Louis game started out bad - but I felt like we had it handled - the Redskins game was very disconforting - the Atlanta game was unbeleivable - that we lost actually made total sense to me.

The "We'll take the ball, and we're gonna score" loss was way more heartbreaking than the Atl game imo.

Thanks for das linkage

I felt the same. I was so proud of our team coming back from that 1st half defecit and RW willing the team to a go ahead score with 30secs left. I was just happy the whole country could see how much of a winner Wilson was. The SF fan sitting at the barnear me said "you know they are going to kick a fg and win it now, too much time". I just shrugged and was content with the incredible effort our guys had put in and the major improvement our offense mabye from the begining of the year.

Schneider talks about Percy Harvin and what he adds to the team, and he says that if he wanted someone in the draft with the "potential" to have his impact, he would have to move up 10-15 spots to acquire him which would cost a 2nd or a 3rd round pick. This makes me think that Tavon Austin was the hawks target all along at 25, but with his combine and Percy Harvin not demanding Megatron money, i believe that was the thought process in trading for Percy Harvin and makes me feel more comfortable with the trade

What makes me comfortable with the trades is Percy Harvin is Percy Harvin. Not maybe the next Percy Harvin which is all Austin might be.

That's exactly what I thought too. After seeing Austin's highlights, I thought he'd be unstoppable on Seattle, but I saw too many team's blogs salivating at him, too. I didn't see how he'd drop to us, but he was who I wanted. After JS said that, I figured he was thinking the same.

I'm pretty worried about St. Louis getting him, tbh.

Worth noting that having the potential to impact the team in a similar way to Harvin doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a player 'like' Harvin (eg, Austin). Could've been any player really. Think the point he's making is the options at #25 weren't great and to get a real impact player in this draft you might need to pick in the top 10-15.

I doubt that any player in this draft will have the overall impact on his team that Harvin will have on the Seahawks.
Time may change that, but right now it's the best power move by any team.
