Ryan is tough, he will be fine - he got jacked up a couple years ago during a return (Bears game?) and if that didn't slow him down, this won't either

Wow. That blocker really stops and stares in Ryan's direction after hitting him.
Either overly proud that he laid a vicious hit on a...punter - or genuinely worried he may have injured him.

Yea I noticed that at the time. Concerned he just murdered someone? or taunting? Not sure.

I got the impression he realized "dude, I just leveled a punter...is he okay?" That's the feel I got.

Kind of cool, if true.

Lol I remember seeing that in real time and that was taunting all the way he couldn't care less about smashing a punter.

For a punter, Ryan is yoked. I be the is fine and probably wants to hit someone on a punt return next game.

Some punters are pretty tough. I remember back when Rick Tuten was our punter, he was rated the strongest player in the NFL, pound for pound.

Ryan was a positional player in college; and he's Canadian. I'm guessing he's fine and enjoyed the contact.

Looking at that I would think the Colts player should be fined! He went straight to the head. Tates Hit that he was fined on seemed like it was more into the chest.

that's not that bad of a hit. he flew but it wasn't like a Kam/VD or Tate/Sean Lee type of hit that'll make you reevaluate your career choice. well, it might if you're a punter but still.

I love Ryan, but gained a lot of respect for him on that play. Forget about angles - he caught the runner and nearly saved a TD.

The hit was clean, but the taunting of running over an off-balance punter is beyond silly.

Looks like he felt bad after the hit.

Probably didn't think he would lay Ryan out quite like that, haha.

Here's where he got popped by Earl Bennett of the Bears, back in 2010? 2011?

Pretty sure he injured his ribs on that play and it didn't look good the way his head whipped back. He is a tough dude though.

IIRC the NFL used that hit as an example of a clean way to crush someone when they weren't looking...

Tuten mention! Nice! There should be one in every thread.
