Harbafreak is the king whiner of all Niners. Oh well, it won't matter down the road.

Was it not Kevin Gilbright who was in the media before the 9 ers played the giants and said keep an eye out on Justin smith holding . And what happened there they flagged smith a lot that day . Brilliant coaching IMHO . Hate harbaugh for doing it but does not negate the fact is he got what he wanted in that respect . Is it dirty hell yeah did they get a win because of it ... Maybe

"Politics on the prospective penalties" It's a game Jim seems to play very well.
Kinda sissy-ish though!

The only impact it's going to have is an outbreak of hearty laughter from 49ers fans coming on here and seeing us bitch and moan about stuff like this.
It would be like saying the officiating is the ONLY reason Seattle lost. Neither statement is true.
It was a contributing factor amongst A LOT of other contributing factors.
.....and who gives a flyin' F what some trolling ninnies idiots think?
I don't get why people put value in what some rivals fanbase thinks about them, that's just a bizarre mentality IMHO.
I did not read that in his statement. He referred to "it" following a post that said "It's only weird if it doesn't work" So we really have no idea as to which "it" he was referring to.nanomoz":3pws33ca said:Sports Hernia":3pws33ca said:To say the officiating had ZERO impact on the game is disengenuous or you are trying to be contrarian or both.theENGLISHseahawk":3pws33ca said:It had zero impact.

Unless I'm missing something, English didn't say officiating didn't impact the game, he said Harbaugh's bitching didn't affect the officiating in the game.
Pandion Haliaetus":cx7cxoo8 said:I just don't get why a lot of people say this game was called pretty "evenly"
It wasn't. Just because San Fran had 7 flags to our 9?
A lot of San Fran's calls were procedural and would be called 99% of the time by all refs.
Most of the Seahawks penalties, were judgment calls, and judgments made seemingly at the right time and right place to kill momentum on offense or give the 49ers' O a second wind.
I assume you all actually watched the game and some re-watched it?
And the rather poor officiating didn't stand-out to you?
On let's say Crabtree's fumble and that is a huge momentum play on field position alone. We saw the refs take that away... if it could have been challenged, Seahawks ball. Momentum shift.
I don't like blaming the refs, as much as anybody, but if they are going to call ticky tack BS judgment calls they better do it consistently. They didn't. And much of the Niner's biggest plays came on premise of flagrant and obvious holds by their offense.
Bennett could have gotten 3rd down sack and ended a 49ers drive. He pretty much was tackled before he could finish the play. No call.
Gore's 51 yard run, a lot of defensive breakdowns but also two blocks in the back and Sherman getting held/pulled away by his arm where he couldn't contain his gap/zone, the crease Gore cutback into for a big, game changing play.
3 plays later after the 51 yard run. Its 3rd and 7. Kaepernick takes the keeper on a designed run. Seemingly on this play, Lane has the outside contain, but like Sherman 3 plays earlier is held by his arms and pulled away from Kaepernick just enough before Lane broke free. And someone else also pointed out that Byron Maxwell was held.
I'm willing to bet if it was Tate in Crabtree's shoes on the fumble or Lynch... 49ers would have got that challenge and the ball. And I'm willing to bet if any of our players held like that while we converted game changing plays, it would have been called. And guess what it was called on us, just not the 49ers.
Also, before anybody thinks I'm whining about the loss, I don't care that we loss, I really don't but where I draw the line is the thinking the 49ers were the better team.
They weren't. They needed to prompt/encourage their crowd for a home game. Harbaugh needed to lobby the officials and whine like the little cockroach he is. Everything about this game painted the Seahawks and "Seattle" as barbaric thugs from the hackjob analysis and reporting to the commercials.
The 49ers merely beat us by 2 points and they needed the refs to look the other way on some of their biggest plays while the Seahawks were getting called for everything and anything.
Yeah, you can say the "officiating was pretty evenly called" but if no penalties were called at all in this game, it would be a Seahawks win.
PS if the Seahawks won, I would still be complaining the officiating. If the Seahawks won the Colts game, it still would have easily been one of the worst officiated I've seen. If the Seahawks won Superbowl XL, it still would have been a poorly officiated game.
Winning nor losing as anything to do with it. Its the people who seem to think the Steelers were the better team, the Colts were the better team, and the 49ers were the better team just because they won.
I won't admit that, I won't ever admit that...my passion as a fan does not allow me to admit something that's not true.
However, with this post I will finally move on and not participate in any other posts on this subject matter as it pointless and futile but at least I stood up for what I believed in and wasn't "political" about it to save face.

Great Post. I agree entirely. I want to see some images of where the Seahawks had calls going their way... People try to take the road with less resistance sometime.... I say, tell it like it is.... which was well done in Pandion Haliaetus's post.
