Hater? He didnt go out and disrespect the Seahawks. Not everyone who thinks the Saints are better is a hater.. they are just wrong. In two weeks they will be educated and have to come around. I forgive those misguided souls at this point.

He didn't say the Seahawks suck but he did say the Saints would come to Seattle and end their 13 game home winning streak. That doesn't smell of respect to me.

No your avatar is ridiculous. Wow what a hottie.

I don't think saying the Saints are going to break the Hawks 13 game home winning streak is all that complimentary.

I can't believe that I need to defend a post with an attention grabbing title that is about my opinion that a sports channel talking head is wrong about the Seahawks chances in a big game following their bye week, hot on the heals of a dominating performance that has everyone excited about their chances.

Never thought I would be agreeing with ED but in this case I agree with everything he said. Garcia is just not good at the whole TV thing. He does not speak well, he does not communicate clearly and in this case he has his head up his butt.

No kidding. Look, I still don't get why most on this board get so butt hurt at scripted commentary. Geez. Personally, I don't care but that's just me I guess. Back to Barfcia, he is repulsive to look at, let alone listen too. He has a puke face that needs to stay off TV. His voice, well let's just say...It was made for San Fran. I have a hard time not changing the channel because of both points and it's certainly not because of what he is scripted to say...

I am hoping for a glimpse of the Falcons from last season. It would be useful if the saints lost on thursday to Atlanta.

I'll be disappointed but not shocked if the Saints came in and won. This game worries me a lot. NO is a great team, and the Hawks are coming off a bye. I worry about losing any rythm we had going.

Didn't NO end the home winning streak in '06? Seems like they did. And it seems like it was a prime time game too.

I swear this fanbase has some of the most sensitive little fans in the league. Embarassing.

This...seems like every perceived slight is overblown

I hate (really, as in beyond strong dislike) the term "hater."

So you basically expect every analyst to pick the Seahawks in every game across every media outlet, and if not, it's a major slight and they're clearly huge haters? Give me a break. We almost lost to the 0-7 BUCCANEERS....... AT HOME.

The Saints don't travel well, so it's likely the Seahawks will win.

However, the Saints are 8-2 with a very realistic shot at being 9-2 coming into the game. It's safe to say they're damn good and capable of winning.

i gave up winning the respect and popularity in media a long time ago. It's superbowl or bust until then..the nfl nation won't give hawks any media time.

Yeah I expect the media "experts" to make the smart choice and not pick against the Hawks at home where they've gone 13-0 over the past 2 seasons. Never said anything about a major slight and the whole hater thing was totally tongue in cheek.

As far as the Bucs go you don't think that team is going to get up for a game against a team that clearly looks Super Bowl bound when their season is in the toilet and this is one of the biggest games on the schedule? Like Sherman said the Hawks are going to get the best from most teams like they have a bullseye on their backs. The Bucs have several close losses on their schedule including one to the Saints.

Agree.

It is not ridiculous for someone to have the opinion that the Saints are better than the Seahawks. They are extremely good.

Only homer Seahawk fans are offended by this video.

The Saints are a good team... no I do not think they are as good as our Seahawks. Here's the difference between the Saints and the other playoff contenders in the NFC - the Saints have the most explosive offense in the NFC. We will see in the next few weeks - against Carolina twice and the Seattle Seahawks - how many points they can put up and how many wins they get in that stretch. They barely hung on against the 49ers who have a great defense and a suspect offense - I think they might lose two games down the stretch!

Do you people even own a TV? I just don't get it when I see stuff like this, this season. We are getting TONS of coverage right now, maybe as much as anyone outside of the Broncos. This inferoirity complex is getting out of hand. Your name is accurate.

Exactly. It's not like he disrespected us. It's also not an insult to pick a team with the better QB (sorry, Brees is still better than Wilson at this point) and the better passing game, especially in this era of the NFL and how they protect QBs, WRs, and the passing game in general.

We have a dominating defense. How many times this year have we been saddled with complete crap PI calls ? And it's not just us. It doesn't matter how good your DBs are when the refs manufacture offense for the other team. Hell, half the time I think it's for ratings as everyone likes a close game with an imminent comeback.

Can we please stop manufacturing disrespect ? It's starting to make our fans look pretty silly; us whining about disrespect and lack of media coverage and we're 10-1 and were the hands down medai darlings of the NFL in this offseason.

I seen him on the NFL channel with another guy and each was asked, is Seattle the team to beat? Garcia said it was NO and the other guy said Denver. It's all good. Just to be mentioned is awesome and to see how much attention we are getting is great. I believe many feel Seattle never gets respect and since we have not been very good recently, that's what happens. The past two years have been the best coverage I have seen of the Seahawks and it will only get better.
