Absolutely! For me the Western Montana part was Highway 200, Clark Fork River, Heron, Noxon, I-90, St. Regis, Superior, Missoula, with a couple middle school summers spent picking cherries near Polson and Kalispell near ice-cold Flathead Lake.I can confirm this resoundingly.Even if I don't live there anymore.
Glad I didn't seem to offend anyone by referring to Eastern Montana as "West Dakota". Just referring to the terrain, mostly. I have love for Eastern Montana Montanans too, and have family there, as well as for both Dakotas, North and South, my USAF son is stationed in N. Dakota but PCSing soon to Alaska to work on F-35s again.
What parts of Montana were your stomping grounds?
