Yeah, I saw one play in the game where he pass protected from the outside in and let Patrick Quenn free at Darnold, he's pass-pro isn't pro ready especially after 4yrs ‍♂

I like our RB room. I've wanted to see more out of Walker than we have. Injuries, poor utilization, bad run blocking have all contributed to the cause. I'd love to see him healthy this year. I've never doubted his ability. I'd also like to see him used a bit more in the screen pass/check down game, give him some more chances at open field running.

When he's on the field the passing game is much less effective.

Slightly off-topic: I have to give Kubiak some serious applause for the Week 2 gameplan. Instead of having Walker in the backfield and effectively playing with 10 men Kubiak went with 5 receivers, (multiple times). He also had Walker wide in a 4 receiver bunch which meant he couldn't be covered with a mediocre LB. Nice to see an OC get away from what didn't work.

I saw one post somewhere saying K9 had 4.7 ypc after contact against Pittsburgh. I'd say he can get the tough yards too.
