I am getting a seriously good vibe about this kid. Great hands, good kid... Watched him on a local program today and he's down-to-earth with a good sense of humor and understanding of his place on the team. I think he's going to be a great player for us. He has a good chemistry with Wilson (who he credits for being on the team as Wilson would throw him tons of balls in mini camps, et al) and he bunks with Lynch and Lynch's uncle. He said they spend most their time playing dominos and listening to music.

There wasn't a single ounce of trying to hide any discourse. The media, as usual, like to light fires.

That TD grab last week was outstanding and IMO just a glimpse of things to come. Keep your eye out for this dude.

Yeah he has been involved in 2 of our best pass plays of the season (long pass in the Monday Nighter and that great grab vs. the Rams). Glad one of these depth TE guys is running with the opportunity they have.

I was all bummed out at the loss (again)of Anthony McCoy going into this season. Helfett is making strides to erase that sorrow. He missed a sure touchdown in Carolina, had RW been a touch more accurate. Now if we could just get him and Willson a few more touches.

You can't stop Cooper Helfet... you can only hope to contain him!

Cooper has been impressive. The only knocks I have is that he didn't come back for that pass that Wilson threw. Yes it was short but he decided to jump back for the ball instead of running back. There was no one within 15 yards of him. He could have stayed on his feet and ran back. He may have made the catch. The other knock is his blocking leaves a lot to be desired. Really Miller is the only decent blocking TE on the team.

Very put together. Impeccable sense of style. Rare for a man in the NFL.

Buy low.... Coop was undrafted right?

His nickname should be Goober because John Gruden said so.
