not sure I’ve ever seen a DB get so thoroughly torched in both the run and pass game. Out of position on seemingly every play. They targeted him over and over. Don’t even care that he’s a lower depth guy, so very clearly not an NFL player. I don’t know if PFF has ever scored someone a 0 but he is very much deserving of it. Go find some dude off the street for his roster spot.

Our entire defensive backfield got torched all game long. It was like they were in a zone and the Bucs knew before the play where to go that no defensive player would be. I have never seen a entire receiver group so consistently uncovered. Maybe that was a special game plan device by the Bucs staff. Or our defense was on the wrong page with theirs. Dunno. All I know is our offense ran out of gas one possession too soon and gave the ball back with too much time on the clock for an offense we never never stopped. Gonna be another year of fitting pieces into our roster. We have now lost two games that we should have won and are just heading into the toughest part of our schedule. Buckle up!

Yeah, it felt like deja-vu every time Mayfield threw the ball downfield, 4 or 5 defenders would be around an open receiver but not close enough, like they WANTED them to catch the ball.

Such an important position.

You simply can’t have a dominant D with ‘ok’ corners…we’re not even average in that spot.

It’s automatic for other teams.

Being a Buckeyes fan, I would’ve told you Egbuka was going to be good. Just like JSN was going to be good.

But a rookie WR shouldn’t be able to come into your house and put up a hundred and muthafckn 63 yards on you.

We missed pressure up front today but that’s still a ridiculous stat…and will be what keeps
MM up at night.

Spend a first and second round pick on CB's, get a couple FA CB's that still has passion and drop Woolen and Pritchett like a bad habit immediately.
That’s all well and good but there are still 12 regular season games to play and the draft isn’t until April. Like the late great Chuck Knox used to say, “you play the hand you’re dealt “.
Where are their easy to replace replacements coming from in the meantime?

Wish it were easy….because CB play is what has cost us two games now.

Well if we are active before the trade deadline, that all goes out the window depending on who we trade for.

Jets are 0-5 right now, would love to get Sauce Gardner.
Browns are 1-4 right now, would love to get Greg Newsome II or even better -- Denzel Ward.
Ravens are 1-4 right now, would love to get Nate Wiggins.
Giants are 1-4 right now, would love to get Paulson Adebo.

As an armchair GM, I'd start the offer with Woolen and go from there.

Sauce would be an amazing GET.

Welp, there goes Newsome...for a CB straight up trade.
