After losing Russell to Denver I was curious what the drop off of bandwagoners would be for this rebuilding squad. If the size of our training camp crowds are any indication, there's been no drop off at all. Saturday was jam packed with peeps. I watched NFL Network's TC coverage over the weekend and I can say with confidence the 12's represented as well if not better than any other TC I've seen on camera over the weekend.
There seems to be a general excitement brewing for this young, fast and talented team, regardless of the current QB situation. While watching Geno or Drew doesn't necessarily get me all fired up, I am very excited to see how this team fairs collectively. I am definitely of the belief we will be surprising people this year. I don't know how many wins that generates, but I do believe it will be in the 7-10 win range.
