The Rams still have the tie breaker against us. In our two head to head games the Rams have scored one more point than us.

After winning last night I feel we can win out with confidence.
Last nights game could have gone either way and so could the game in Santa Clara.
One good thing about last night is he has got the monkey of his back of losing in big games to quality opposition mostly due to his poor performance (his last 2 games for the vikings and the first Rams game for us)
He didn't say it would deliver the division. He said it would prevent the Niners from being able to win the division.

This is true and I expect that becomes easier if the division is lost to the Niners after the Bears game. They lose either the Colts or Bears game and have the playoffs clinched they will likely rest starters at some point. We won’t need to as we can play for the division and number 1 seed this testing the following week.
Of course of the Niners lose one and somehow the Rams slip up then we can coast through week 18. No matter what happens though we have a big game against the Panthers next week.

You sure about that? According to Chat GPT the tiebreakers (in order) are: head-to-head; conference record; common games; strength of victory; strength of schedule; best combined ranking - conference; best combined ranking - all teams; net points - conference; net points - all games; net touchdowns - all games; and coin toss. Nothing about net scores head-to-head. That might be something used in some college conference or another, or in soccer or some other 'extra' sport.
