I'm absolutely sure that if he hadn't fumbled against the Lions, Goff would have thrown a half dozen incomplete passes.

And a Giants rookie 6th round RB wouldn't have looked like a superstar against our defense.

Darn that DK!

They have 1 less loss the way the offense was rolling in Detroit. Don't know about the Giants game, they just got whooped

Both fumbles took what little chance we had and wrecked them. But he didn't fumble being a puss..he was trying to win. He'll learn and correct it. But damn they were costly. You watch the wind go right out of the sails for each game on those plays

He's five years into his career, this is his 6th .

I think he is who he is.

His fumble in yesterday's game came very early in the 3rd quarter when the game was still tied. The Giants still needed to drive the ball almost 80 yards to score, which they very easily did in just 4 plays. Even then, there were still over 10 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter and we were only down 1 score. Yes, it was a costly fumble. Most fumbles are. But turnovers happen. It wasn't some insurmountable nail-in-the-coffin type moment with nearly the entire 2nd half left to play. Or at least it shouldn't have been.

He has never been a fumble machine. Back-to-back games makes it look a hell of a lot worse. Guys like Megatron used to do this same stuff. Some guys just try to get extra yardage. It's frustrating, but he is who he is. If someone else made those 2 fumbles, I highly doubt people are grabbing their pitchforks.

He's fumbled more than any receiver in the NFL since 2019. That's ok because he's the most penalized as well.

It is what it is.. if you're cool with it. I'm cool with you .

Meh, I'm good with DK.

You are literally making stuff up now about DK. You're just proving my points even more.

Since 2019, DeAndre Carter, Ray-Ray McCloud and Hunter Renfrow are tied for the most fumbles by a wide receiver, with 12 fumbles.
Make that 13 for Ray-Ray

If we played the Broncos last week and didn't have the block field goal against the Patriots w/ couple minutes left in the game, we be 1-4. If Tua played us, we probably be 0-5.

The Dolphins didn't hold the lead for even a second of game time against the Jaguars with Tua, so I'm not buying your last example, but the first two are probably accurate. The Broncos one definitely. That would have been ugly.

Regardless, we almost definitely lose to the Patriots without DK. Possibly the Broncos too, because even if his stats were underwhelming, he was the one drawing the attention of Pat Surtain, who has shut down everyone this season.

The fumbles obviously hurt…but, we’ve played so shitty in other areas that DKs mistakes don’t come off as costly to me.

Not saying I’m cool with it. But if you gave me one of these options to fix first:

DK or O-line or Defense

….DK isn’t the priority here.

Had NO idea of those 2 stats.

Dolphins still beat the Jags. Seahawks became stagnant in the second half. Seem like if there was competent QB and not a QB2/3, game would have been different.

They did win on a FG as time expired, but if they needed a full game of Tua to barely beat the team that was the last to win this season, I don't know how confident I am that he flips the game THAT much against us in a game where we had nearly the entire defense healthy. The Dolphins are a categorical (possibly an insensitive time to use that word, but I think it fits) disaster with problems seemingly everywhere.

I also don't think our offense would have been as "stagnant" without that 24-3 lead. With Tua, we probably still win by something like 31-16.
