And tonight was the ugliest and best of them all.

Last year, we lost to this Rams team in STL. Tonight, we really really tried to lose again. But this defense had other ideas and won the game for us.

Our team has looked discombobulated, half-assed, short-handed and out of sync all season.

Yet, here we are at 7-1.

It is a magical year.

If by magical you mean like, Harry Potter in the first 100 pages, then yes, magical.

Based on our ToP, how would you say the game ended, Hans?

Just teasing obviously. We were dominated in yards, time of possession, virtually every category but turnovers and TDs.

The win may have been ugly, but that goal line stand was a thing of beauty. Watched the Lions beat the Cowboys yesterday. Cowboys lose games like that. Seahawks had to hold from first and goal on and they did it.

Hence we're 7-1 and they're 4-4.

Yeah. That win was 100% awesome if for no other reason than it showed that this team can win a game purely on defense.

Well its kind of the opposite of a shoot out.

In a offensive shoot out, for example the Cowboys Broncos game this year, people say it's a great game. In a defensive battle it's "ugly".

The thing is if our oline is healthy in this game it's probably a blow out.

If Sam Bradford played tonight, we may not had the picks neither could we have stopped them at the goal line. The guy was a backup QB and still gave us heartburns.

Ugly wins over great teams are fine, when we had 11 days to rest and were playing against a mediocre team it only tells me we were out coached and our game plan on offense was an F.

11days to rest and 11days to scheme for our OL issues, yeah I'd say an 'F'

I think my heart rate is only starting to slow down now from that goal line stand...

I love any win. Every SB team has several ugly ones in any given year. '95 Cowboys won 8 of their games in the final two minutes. Every NFL game is its own animal, and they don't always reflect the team as a whole. As Pete would say, some Seahawks fans just need to toughen up a little bit.

Kind of like how we dominated Pittburgh in SB*XL.

We had more points than the Lambs when the final whistle blew.

and yet still won...

I mean it does happen right? every team in the NFL will struggle on a given week.

We did this week, and won. Winning in the NFL isnt easy.

I get it though, there are some persistant issues that seem to be causing concern amongst the fan base.

if we look like this against the Bucs, then serious questions need to be answered

Great observation.
