Don't mean to beat a dead horse here, but that was their first win in the white top/blue bottom combo since their inception last year. They had not worn them this year, and last year they only donned them once. A loss in Detroit.

I actually like this combo. At first I liked the white on white, but I kind of fell out.

still like the full wolf greys as my favorite look and hope we explore the possibility of that being our full time away look, but I have to say I didn't care for them before but they kinda grew on me yesterday. Coulda been the alcohol and winning. Still think i prefer the white top/grey pants over it though.

I honestly couldn't care one iota less about what they wear, I just want to see W's on the board at the end of the day. Personally I prefer to see the Wolf Grey Pants with the White Jersey myself, but when I watch them play, it's really not even on my mind

Hawknballs- Never understood the white top/gray pants combo. There is no gray on the jersey on the road so to me it doesn't even match. The only gray is in the hawk logo on the helmet. Is it the nostalgic look? Maybe since we donned that look for years? To each his own, but I never cared for it. Also, they are 0-3 in that combo. And yes, white/blue grew on me also on sunday

Road game uniform color combos are totally determined by what the home team wears, and the home team picks their colors first.

As an example the Falcons choose to wear red jerseys and white pants therefore the Hawks had to do the opposite, white jerseys and blue pants.

If they went with red and red, we would have to go with white and white. That simple.

The grey uniforms suck IMO, they always look dirty from a distance.

GO HAWKS!!!

Never really cared for the unicolor look in any permutation. Add to that that wht/gry looks kinda like wht/dirty wht and I'm kind of ambivalent about that one, too.

White on blue pants looks nice. Wolf on blue pants looks good too.

The unicolor looks like garbage. I hate when they do that.

I don't understand the hatred for the greys. Honestly, I don't understand the hatred for any of the uniforms. Preferences are understandable, but downright hatred? I'll never understand it. None of these are that bad.

That's not true: we wore white on white at Indy while the Colts wore their blue jerseys with white pants. And we wore white on white last year for the playoff game in Atlanta when the Falcons wore red jerseys over white pants.

The only thing the home team can affect is the visiting team's jersey color. It is the discretion of the team as to which color pants they wear. Remember back in 2009 when Mora busted out the blue pants to go with the white road uniforms? He did it solely because he preferred that look to the all white uni/pants combo we had worn for the several years up until then.

the whites look fine..I do agree that they look better with the blue pants...and not simply all white.

I remember when the neon green jerseys were worn at home for that Bears game. They wore them with the dark/navy blue pants, then later that season, wore those same pants with the silvery Seahawks-blue jerseys. Don't remember the details, but those darker pants were worn with the white road jersey a time or two as well. As far as the second-gen unis are concerned, that was a better look than the so-called "uni-color" scheme.

With the new uni's, I would also like to see the wolf grey pants worn with the white jersey. I think it would be somewhat nostalgic AND look cool. When the pants are a shade darker than the jersey, in any combo, the team looks sharp.

I think Shadowhawk is correct. Home team decides opposing Jersey only.

Im off the original trail... but reading all these posts has brought to my attention the following thought...how about a uniform in black with our colors. It would be similar to the lions, but soooo much better. The green would really pop out, but not be overbearing.

Oh well, carry on...with your happy ear yo ear smiles ;)

Its good to be a Seahawk fan

I saw that black with green outline on numbers, it was a Lynch jersey. Not bad. That would be cool if they wore that once a year.
