He was drafted to clog the middle and stymie the running game that has been eating us up for the last few years. He's doing that in spades. Any pass rush stats he gets are a bonus. He is doing a great job and will keep getting better as he matures.

Our Byron Murphy needs a big NT in the middle to push him to his natural position. I think he’s still only 21, maybe 22 now plus it take a couple years. He’s gonna be just fine and a game wrecker. We’ve seen glimpses plus he gets double teamed every play

They are not using him in that role - he is supposed to take up double teams and get push back to the QB while others get the sack, like Big Cat. I love how you guys hijacked this thread from one BM2 to another.

I'm betting he will. He's been on NT duties since day 1. Even comparing him to guys rushing off the edge is apples and oranges.
