I hope Old Jimbo does show up in support of his brother and gives Balke and York the middle finger on the way out.

But he has way more class than that. I dont think he would show up Popeyejones

Honestly wouldn't surprise me if they beat Baltimore and Atlanta (the Falcons are a different team when they leave the dome)

They will likely give us a tough game too.

I'll say 3-8

I was thinking this..but the Rams game may be a fluke too. So either of Atlanta or Rams....I dunno, I am just on a message board tho.

I'm kinda on the fence about the Baltimore game with the Niners. If it wasn't for the fact that 49er management undermined their Head Coach, spread rumors about their HC, and tried to trade their HC to Ceveland. I'd say the Niners might handle the Ravens with some ease, but John is Jim's Brother, and there has to be some "get back" in this equation.

Get back how though? The coordinators are different, the schemes are different, and almost all of the players are different.

Unless there's some secret to attacking Kaepernick that hasn't been uncovered yet* what would he really have to offer?

*And there isn't: get interior pressure and make sure pre-snap to be disguising your coverages. That's it.

Idk about you, but I wholeheartedly believe that John Harbaugh would take great satisfaction in kicking the Forty-Niners behinds, due to what when down with "his Brother" & Niner Management/Ownership, imvho...of course. Even tho both teams are 1 & 4 this will be a hard fought battle, rumor has it that Jim might be on the sidelines to support his Brother John.

Btw, you forgot the remaining constants on the 9ers....Jed York & Trent Baalke. These are the people responsible for the discord last year on the 49ers against Jim Harbaugh, not the coordinators, or new coaches.

Even if he cares what's John Harbaugh gonna do? Is he gonna call plays extra hard? Stalk the sidelines with increased vigor and verve? Strategically use timeouts when he would have otherwise just called them randomly?

I think being 1-4 is motivation enough for him to want to win, even aside from the whole being a head coach and wanting to win thing. ;)

I mean, if he even cares I suppose there could be an argument made for him running up the score in the case of a blowout, but that has no effect on if the Ravens win or not.

I'm also not totally convinced that he even much cares. The only thing he's said about it is that Jim is super happy at Michigan. And he's gone on the record multiple times saying that even since childhood his brother is a friggin crazy person whose so competitive over so many different random things he's practically impossible to be around.
(all said lovingly of course, but still...)
