Our injuries are moving behind us. Our defense is a power to be reckon with. Even OL is a piece or two away. Our OC is still learning on the job but he is learning isn't he?

We have own 6 games, I don't see Rams, Cardinals and Jets can handle us. That makes 9 wins and NFCW champ.

I am hoping for a rematch with ithe Lions in conference championship game. You?

That would be so sweet.

I have absolutely no idea how far we're going this year. If you'd asked us week 3 - it was Superbowl or bust. 3 weeks ago we all had guns in our mouths basically. Now we have some renewed hope.

I'd generally agree with Soulfish - win in the wildcard lose in the divisional. But WTF knows at this point :) The next few weeks will be very telling.

Don't count out chickens. ESPN has us at only 29% chance to make the play-offs play-off status has us at 33%. The Rams also have players coming back from injury and the Cards in Arizona wont be easy. Other teams also learn every week. the Cards have a really goon running team we bottles them up but I fully expect thenm to make adjustments.

I think our odds of making the play-oof are a bit higher than the media project but if we do we will probably 3rd or 4th seed facing the Vikings or Green Bay in the WC round even with home field advantage I would make us underdogs for that.

I would be very pleasently surpised if we made the Divisional round and amazed if we went any further.

It's a good year to dream. Weak division up for whoever takes it. Most teams this season have warts aside from maybe Detroit.

I like to think about the 2011 9-7 Giants who got hot at the right time and a few other 10-win teams over the years.

Of course ESPN would say that. That place is a bunch of mindless jizz bags. We could be 10-0 and ESPN would still say the Seahawks have a 29% of making the playoffs.

You just.never know how the ball will bounce. If we make the playoffs anything can happen. I don't think it's crazy to believe we could make it to the Superbowl and WIN! Any given Sunday right? Go Hawks

A couple weeks ago our chances were 3%. Now as high as 33%. I will bide my time worrying about what shapes up as a trap game vs the Jets. They have pi**ed on our cheerios before and they have a roster that should be able to play a good game.

Let's make it to the playoffs first :)

With the way they are playing we absolutely have a playoff caliber defense. Question is can our offense figure it out well enough?

The Packers figure to be favourites in Week 15. The other 5 Seahawks games are pretty much coin flips. (Sportsbooks think the Jets have a 45% chance against the Seahawks). All of the NFC West teams look like 9-8 or 8-9 teams. I think the Packers, Vikings, and Commanders will get the Wild-card spots. The NFC West division winner will be the #4 seed, probably seeded to face the Packers or Vikings. Again they'd be in a small underdog or coin flip situation.

It's better than the pre-season projections so enjoy the ride.

there is always a team every year that comes into the playoffs hot and is a real handful...this year it could very well be Seattle.

I look around the league and I'm not sure beyond the Lions if there is any team I particularly fear on any given Sunday. Even then, a shootout in Detroit I'd give us a fighters chance if we can keep the gang healthy.

Very much more excited than I was watching the defense look putrid a few weeks back. Get in to the dance, and make a name for yourselves.

I agree with most of this.

While all the NFC West teams look like 9:8 or 8:9 teams it wouldn't surprise me is one lucks out on most of their remaining games and ends 10:7 but that would be enough to win the division.

I also think it quite likely the NFC West divsion winner gets the No 3 seed. The Falcons are 6:5 like us and will be underdogs in Minniapolis and DC, the chargers game is a toss up and they could slip up in any of their games agaist the bottom feeders. My expected wins for them would be 9:8 and if we win the division even at 9:8 we would beat them on tie break. Having said that it doesn't make a lot of difference as the No 3 seed is also likely to play the Packers or Vikings in the WC round.
