Ewers coming out is the only player to ever have a perfect grade. He battled Oblique injuries last year which may have hurt his throwing. I think that's why he "took a step back." I think ankle was his other injury last year but I don't recall if it was ankle or not off the top of my head. Seahawks have already met with Ewers. JS has name dropped Ewers for two years now. I'd be happy with Ewers and think he can be had in the 3rd. I would love to pick up another 3rd this year somehow to guarantee that, trade down most likely.I think we're going to see the stock on Ewers rise quickly. He has always been very highly-regarded and wasn't bad at all at Texas, he just didn't take that jump into the elite he was expected to last season. I think had he been a 4-star recruit rather than one of the highest rated HS QB prospects in history, the story on him would be different right now. Apparently, he has put on considerable muscle the past few months and I suspect he'll test very well. I think he establishes himself as the clear #3 QB in this draft and crawls back into the second half of the first round. Teams are going to think they can max out his potential. I don't know if Schneider will seriously consider it at 18, but don't be surprised if we start getting connected to him.
I actually really do not like the crop of QBs in this draft projected to go in the mid-late rounds. Gabriel is starting to intrigue me some. That's it. I wouldn't be be remotely excited if we took any of the others before the 6th round.
Reports are Ewers DID meet with Seattle. I also expect a team to trade up to the end of round 1 and take Dartdart has shot up the ranking and now is projected as a round 2 pick. interested to see how he does at the combine. Ewers has met with 7 teams; the Seahawks were not one of them.

Yeah, I'm trying to find the post. I saw it yesterday on X from a credible source. Just don't remember who, but they said Seahawks and Ewers met. I saw the same link you posted and no mention. Since I can't find it currently, I'll just concede. But I bet they do meet soon if they haven't already
"Ewers says he's had seven formal meetings at the combine so far. Ewers listed the Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, New York Jets, New Orleans Saints, Las Vegas Raiders, Indianapolis Colts and the Steelers. Pittsburgh and Las Vegas were the only two of that group that didn't ask Ewers to go to the white board and diagram plays during the interviews."
I'd be surprised if the Seahawks hadn't talked with him. Wonder why they weren't mentioned.
They will leave no stone unturned. Why wouldn't you meet with him? JS covers all his bases at the combine. Like you said, they will if they haven't already. What will be telling is if they meet with guys that are considered top 10 like Sanders or Ward. Likely keep their powder dry till next year when the draft is better for QB's is my sense. If they love dart and can get him in the 2nd. JS seems to have a great nose for QB talent if all the rumors are true.Yeah, I'm trying to find the post. I saw it yesterday on X from a credible source. Lots of QBs don’t win shit in college.Jaxson Dart also didn’t win shit in college.

he might not be if he wows at the combine. He could also go early in the 2nd round before we pick. A lot can change, a month ago he was 4th rounder.I don't think Dart will still be on the board in the second round. He seems to be vaulting up the ladder by leaps and bounds.
I still think a team will jump into the back half of the 1st to take Dart. Early to mid 2nd will be the latest he goes for sure. Before we pick at 50.he might not be if he wows at the combine. He could also go early in the 2nd round before we pick. A lot can change, a month ago he was 4th rounder.
