He is definitely a qb I would take late, any qb late-ish. There’s a few, we might be able to get a decent prospect in the 2nd round. If we go all in for a qb who would it have to be?
Shadeur Sanders?
Cam Ward?

Currently projected at a 5th rounder. I'd take him just for the best QB name in a long time. never seen him play

If we are taking a qb late, make it one who wins and doesn’t hurt the team. Take Gabriel in the 6 round.

He’s got 4 TDs and over 400 yards passing in their bowl game tonight. Also made some tough runs.

I love Jaxon Dart. I said in another thread I hope they draft him, sign Daniel Jones for cheap and let Howell, Jones and Dart battle it out. Darts seems like a guy that could be a solid backup if nothing else.

I don't know why you all want a rookie QB to be set up for failure, no line and you get David Carr, fix the line, establish a running threat and you don't need to roll dice, reach or hope for a draft position. You can pick up a guy that hasn't been broken yet from another team, yes you may not get a rookie contract, but you get a guy that has been given time to acclimate to the NFL and cut his teeth some. Hass, Geno being two examples here that have worked out. Since they are not starters for their teams you will get a chance to give them that chance on a deal that is team friendly and control the payout based on performance.

I would hope if they go for a rookie qb some of that money you're saving by not investing in Geno is there to bolster the OL.
