That’s all I can think of hot garbage when I hear Pete open his mouth to address us fans about the trade and the organization. He has been feeding us the same vanilla answers about a loss or our schisms a coach or anything else for that matter. I have been seeing for a few years now how he is wasting Russell’s talent and I now believe it. It’s too bad it’s going to take more then just losing our franchise QB for anyone above him to realize it.
The Seahawks are trapped in purgatory. There is a small portion of the fanbase that is cool with losing, but the vast majority are not.
I remember the 90's and that is where this franchise is going to be for a while.
Are They?
I'd argue with Russ they were trapped, a QB who wants to be paid like the best in the league, who has never been an All-Pro, never an MVP, never lead the stats column, won one SuperBowl on the backs of the greatest or top 3 greatest defenses of all time. So narcistic he calls himself Mr. Unlimited and has 20+businesses he is trying to juggle. He may have an amazing arm, but his legs look like they are almost gone and his ability to pull off some magical 4th qtr comebacks has been fading.
Stuck with a leader who thinks he is better than his teammates, a leader who thinks his legacy is bigger than his coach, and one who thinks he knows more about how to build a roster than his GM, and thinks he know how to coordinate an offense better than the coaches.
Russ is the most self centered QB in the league, he is a wolf in sheep clothing and been lying to all of us for year.
Russ is Hot Garbage and I would wager his sack numbers will be higher than 47 sacks next year and that his team finishes 3rd in their division. I'm rooting for a top 15 pick and suspect they will be somewhere between 9-8 and 7-10. All the while we will also be looking at a 9-8 to 7-10 type season but I suspect we will finish #2 in our division.
I haven't been this excited for Seahawks football in a while. Soon all the curmudgeons who loved Russ so much will come back around.
