QB: Wilson. Schaub is an issue, he is turnover prone, and tends to struggle when under pressure
RB: Seahawks barely, if Foster was right I'd go with the texans, tate is a good RB but I give the slight edge to the seahawks because they have the 3 headed monster
WR: Push, if Johnson was fully healthy this would go to the texans but he isn't so I'm calling this one a push
TE: Texans, daniels is a really good TE
OL: Texans, they are more healthy, unless Brown doesn't play which he should (probably the biggest advantage for the texans)
DL: Seahawks, texans have watt but the endless rotation of depth on that line gives them the edge.
LB: Push, cushings and wagner are both really good. Don't know much about the Texan's OLB. Mercilus was a 1st round pick.
CB: Seahawks, must I explain why
S: Seahawks, see CB
ST: Seahawks (BIGGEST ADVANTAGE FOR THE HAWKS) Houston is incredibly lousy on ST's, hawks are really good.
I think the hawks will get a non offensive TD this week. Schaub has 3 pick sixes in 3 weeks. And our defense is ballhawking.

comparing OL - OL, WR - WR etc. does nothing.

Position by position matchups have always been difficult for me to fully "buy into" since the two don't play against each other. DB positions are definitely stronger for the Hawks but Andre and Hopkins are still damn good receivers, better than what we have on our roster (if all are healthy), in my opinion. Every time I try to look at who I think is stronger it gets very murky with these teams.

I want to be a homer and "back my team" in these tough fights but dammit, I'm a Seahawks fan over 40 years old and I have a hell of a lot of history behind me, training to make me a pessimist. I can see the Seahawks kicking the Texans ass, if the offense gets hot. I can't see the Texans getting hot enough on offense to kick our defense's ass. I just have enough doubt in our offense against their defense that this is a tough game.

I'll be sitting with my buddies, watching this game, Hawks jersey on, beverages locked and loaded hoping for the best.

We win this, I'm all in.

With the defense all we need is someone to take a kick to the house + a defense pick 6 and our offense can just be a clock burning machine with an occasional field goal.

Our strengths get negated somewhat by injuries. Wilson, Lynch and Miller are all better then Schaub (Captain Check Down), Foster and Daniels. But our o-line mess may mean a less effective running game, Miller stays in to block more, and Wilson may have a tough day.

Our defense is better overall but its not drastic.

In the end, if Schaub plays like I've seen him play lately then we will win. If he starts hitting Johnson and Hopkins down field and LOB isn't somewhat dominant and we lack pass rush we may just lose.
