Way to redeem yourself after the Clemons article, Rosenthal:

What he did with Favre and a supporting cast was downright insane.FlyingGreg":30oq7msn said:RolandDeschain":30oq7msn said:I rolled my eyes when you said everything he does bashes the Seahawks; you can't flip-flop like this, lol.
Incorrect. I didn't say anything about "bashing"; I said: "I always seem to disagree with anything Rosenthal puts out, so no surprise".

Alas, no flip flopping. Don't make it so melodramatic. :141847_bnono:
This time, he got one right.
Back on the point of the thread, Harvin is going to be a machine. What he did with a weak QB and no supporting cast at WR is impressive.

I was more referring to the fallacy of your original statement. Rosenthal is all over our junk across the board in this article, for instance, including praise for getting Harvin: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap100000 ... e-seahawks
Here's Rosenthal being neutral on Fail Mary, which frankly is tantamount to supporting the Seahawks in that situation: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap100000 ... le=HP11_cp
Here he is saying we've got the best defense in the league: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap100000 ... ans-in-mix
Here he's ranking Wilson above RG3 and Luck, but to be fair, this is only for that week; but he still praises Wilson thoroughly: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap100000 ... -on-strong
He also picked us to win @ Washington in the playoffs; but, you know, I guess if you ignore all the positive stuff he has said about it and posted about us, then you can "always seem to disagree with him", I suppose.
I'm just getting tired of every week seeing someone post a new thread about a writer that wrote an article that doesn't pain the Seahawks in a supremely favorable light and then talking about what a horrible writer that person is, has always been, and will always be. Some people are right, a lot of our fan base can't take any criticism at all when our team is now elite. Just because we're elite doesn't mean we lack flaws, and it also doesn't mean someone can't opine against the commonly held belief our fan base has about our team.
The fact of the matter is, there isn't a single NFL writer anyone can find to hate on that I can't find at least nearly as much support for us that they've written in the past year, if not more. If anyone's got a candidate they think can stump me, name him. Writers that half the people around here would actually recognize the name of only, please.

They are just opinions nothing more, nothing less. Not worth the energy to get stressed over IMHO. I don't put a lot of stock in what national writers say anyhow, but that's just me.RolandDeschain":321ee5cl said:Hey, Montana; if the average person fought more against hypocrisy, the world would be a better place.
@FlyingGreg: I have no problem with what people post for content, it's the biased allegations of X writer always being a Seahawks-hating clueless idiot when posting an article that doesn't kiss our team's ass that has gotten tiresome.
In any case, I'm not a Rosenthal lover, but I'm not a hater, either. Now let's get back on topic. Percy Harvin's going to have 25 TDs this year.
Pandion Haliaetus":3hz23p02 said:Harvin averaged 10.9 Yards Per Catch in 2012. 8.9 of that 10.9 ypc average was YAC. Harvin was in the most simplest of explanations was nothing short of amazing.
RolandDeschain":1huidgbd said:YAC is flashy, but it's far from needed, IMO. (I swear, I'm not trying to be combative; it's just that if you have a good medium-and-long passing game, you can spank opposing defenses without getting any YAC.) Plus, when players try to go for serious YAC, they're more likely to get injured by a strong safety blindsiding them and stuff like that as compared to say, throwing a bunch of medium-length out routes. I'd be perfectly fine watching Sidney Rice catch balls while falling out of bounds on the sidelines all day long, know what I mean?
