Some critics identified both the Bears and the Hawks to have OL issues. These two teams diagnosed their OL, and came up with different results.

The Hawks identified poor QB plays with Geno Smith as the cause, therefore we traded away Geno . We didn't sign any IOL free agency period.

The Bears went the opposite route, invested heavily in free agents to improve their line.

Symptoms maybe similar but root causes and treatments were opposite?

Wrong we offered Geno and he wanted out. You as per normal, are twisting the actual facts to fit your narrative.

It’s apples and oranges…no matter what opinion you have, the NFL is run differently. You can’t “choose the team” you play for. Professional sports isn’t putting a resume on LinkedIn and getting to choose your next employer. There is a draft and it’s been that way for years…at least he realized that after trying to change the entire process, it wasn’t ever going to happen. He accepted his fate and went to the Bears.

What i am saying is that regardless of the process, you cant fault a human being for not wanting to waste his time going to a crap organization just because he is in sports. Doesnt make him a character problem. Promising careers has died on crap teams. Ask Derrick Carr.

Oh I agree…it’s unfortunate and many examples of that. My point was more in agreement with yours…in that it’s a flawed system. And for those saying the players make millions so who cares…the average NFL career is 3 years, and average age of death 53.

So let every draft pick pick the team they want to play for, that should make it a really competitive league...............
