I don't get the hate about Harbaugh/Harper. He didn't make our team, we could have kept him, he just wasn't good enough. Just like Lockette. This isn't a first. EJ Wilson?, Durham, now Harper. We cut 4th/5th rounders if they can't cut it.
Me too.

I don't have a problem with Harbaugh. He was kicking the tires. Some may say "so and so" didn't get a fair shake and they may be right. In the end its up to the player to put himself in a situation to succeed. Thats why I don't get the hate about Harbaugh/Harper. No man poses a bigger threat to the Hawks success.. It makes sense every move he makes would be met with a thousand 'omg douche!' posts.

What lol? Just cause he's a threat to our success, doesn't make him a douche of a person. A lot of things he does are justified, it's just this time, with how he handled Wallace's situation, it wasn't good and he's rightfully being called out on it. Not every move he does is douchey, and most aren't, but this is one case in which it kinda was.

I don't think he's a Hawks fan lol, if you're referring to my quote above that is.

Referring to the entire thread. :D

BTW, it was just a miscommunication.

"On Monday, Wallace called it all "miscommunication" and said he called the coach to clear the air."

Yeah sure, we can read damage control when we see it. This is like your fellow employees leaving the company to pursue new opportunities or spend more time with family.

Right...Harbaugh is such an A-Hole for giving a guy sitting on his couch a chance to sign with an NFL teams. They even released Tolzien FIRST in order to give Wallace a chance to play in the last preseason game...and Tozien was released AFTER Colt had signed his pay cut.

It was WALLACE who quit. Niners were going to let him play in that last preseason game.

Even if he's right tho (which I doubt), Wallace is being a little baby. Teams bring guys in for a matter of hours for all sort of reasons. You read a guy is signed and then released the next day. The problem is that for some unknown reason Wallace thinks he's done something to this point and that he somehow deserves a different kind of treatment.

What if Colt HADN'T taken the pay cut? Colt was subject of trade rumors. There was a real possibility that Seneca was going to be on the final 53.

Honestly...if this were any other team you guys would be calling Wallace a baby and not Harbaugh a douche. You guys are just LOOKING for reasons to hate.

Its all good tho...its a rivalry...lets just not pretend tho that it's something other than that.

I read in an article today that Seneca Wallace called Jim to clear the air and said that the whole thing was a miscommunication.

Wow, are you really that dense? You are a SF fan on a SEATTLE message board and your coach is a douche! What were you expecting? Candy and flowers?
I'm pretty sure that Pete is talked about in the same manner on your home ninnies boards.
If you don't like to hear critical words about your beloved team and coach, you are free to leave, no one is stopping you!

Give Wallace a chance to play clean up in a meaningless game and possibly getting injured so he could not sign with someone else? Wallace isn't a dummy, he has been thru a few of these situations. I'm sure he seen what was going on. After all we have a few players here that have had first hand experience with how Harbaugh does business also and there is a reason he isn't thought of fondly from them either.

If it looks like a Duck and quacks like a Duck then I would guess more then likely it is a Duck.

I scratched my head when Wallace was signed also, and was not surprised of what happened. I love Harbaugh as a coach but I to see him as kind of a douche. He is a shit pot better than any of pour coaches since Mooch was fired!!!!!!!!!! Even in the superbowl he seemed very uncomfortable with the attention, or even having a conversation with even his brother. So it seems he might have a personality issue which he might but the dude can coach his ass off.

Jeez.

I give up. No point I arguing. The Seattle "Harbaugh is the antichrist" movement isn't worth fighting.

I remember an interview with Ted Robinson (Radio Voice of the 49ers). He said he had to stop taking interviews with Seattle radio stations because the 49ers hate was so completely over the top is was ridiculous. NOTHING like that here in the Bay Area. We see Seattle as an up and coming rival team (and that's why I'm here), but the HATE here for everything 49ers is puzzling. I don't get it. Honestly. If you guys really are as good as you think you are, why all the hate?

It's crazy. If as so many have said that Harbaugh is just a douche, Kaep is in for a titanic fall, and Baalke is really a crappy GM...why so many Niner threads? I don't start them...you guys do.

Did you ever watch Harbaugh play?

He was an asshole douchebag then, his own brother tells the story about having to watch his brothers back becasue he was so disliked growing up and freindless, in college he was a loaner and a douche. Nobody is taking anything away from his coaching ability, or his playing ability when he played, what everyone is saying is if Harbaugh was a Pro Wrestler he would be a heal, kicking guys in the sack and poking their eyes , he may still be a champion but his path to the trophy left a lot of collateral damage to get there so to speak.

Marvin, I've seen Harbaugh through the years since he played at Michigan (my home state). He has a habit of acting like a spoiled, immature child. When that behavior continues late into adulthood, it leads to others saying things like, "he's a douche."

The fact he's the coach of a rival team adds to that, but it's not the only reason.
