last night, a couple of my buddies were commenting how I didn’t seem as into this game as usual. My wife said, “yes, he’s been in off-season mode for the last two weeks.”

My pinch me day was the Monday after the NFC championship game. I really couldn’t get myself hyped up into believing that the Patriots had a chance.
