Tons of other teams were interested in Lotulelei after the draft as UDFA. IIRC, Seattle outbid several other suitors for his services, with the largest signing bonus for an UDFA.
If Lotu hits the waiver wire he won't make it through to Practice Squad. He does look to have a future in this league as an outside linebacker and all-around heat-seeking missile.

Naw, I think some would rather just listen to/trust Kearly's assessment of a player than trust their lying eyes. The youngster is a quick as a cat tackling machine. He proved that much in college and showed that in his limited snaps here. He's a little smallish for my likings in a LB'er, but so is Malcome Smith.

Idk. Who knows what happens when Irvin comes back, maybe MS gets the boot? In reality though I don't care because I am confident Carroll and co. kinda know what they're doing.

There are a couple of players gone and a couple that stayed that surprised me. But then I think JS/PC and company are as much developers of players as they are game strategists. Because of their eye for talent and potential of players I understand it's a process that I don't understand. So I am pretty much OK with what they seem fit to do.

As for Lotu, he is a guided missile that needs a little work in the guidance department. I do admit he looks raw as hell but his motor doesn't have an off switch. If he can be pointed in the right direction he could be a true starter.

I could be wrong, I though Mora would be a great head coach.
