A handful of walks. Good patience. Deeper team than we have had. Kirby was solid. Would like to see Kade this year, he was a miracle get for us. Refsnyder, Donovan, Garver....some addition by subtraction. When this lineup gels...

Obviously he isn't nearly as good, but Brendan Donovan reminds me of Charlie Hustle in the way that he plays.

Walked the 9 hole hitter twice. Came back to bite them both times. Ugh.

The Mariners are back to this love of all things "Handed-ness" again. Refsnyder was pulled after only 2 ab's simply because Cleveland went to a RH reliever. Canzone was wasted as his replacement, because now due to "Handed-ness", Bliss replaced Canzone & promptly whiffed. So Refsnyder isn't allowed to see RH pitching & Canzone is a no vs Lefties? Bliss should be down in Tacoma playing everyday, not riding the MLB bench or pinch hitting.

Cold start M's nothing new. BUT our 2,3,4 downright frosty.

It highlights that Young, Rivas, Bliss pretty weak links. Rivas looked feckless, basically forced Donovan to run home with his slow roller to Ramirez fielded 10 feet away from him. After the double steal so Rivas wouldn't hit into a double play.

It's a team sport, but after Young's relay throw to home that would have been on time had it not been halfway up the third base line, he of course was up to bat at the bottom with someone on second and struck out to end the inning. Cut to bottom 10th, Raley gets them within one run and who is ready to come up and strike out to end the game?

Young.

Strike three on momentum killers, strike three to end the game. A little back up would help, but...yikes. Go to Tacoma young man.
