Much appreciated. My predictions for this game called for us winning by multiple turnovers and explosive plays. Instead it came down to one turnover (the ET-induced Williams fumble on the goal lime) and one explosive play (the TD bomb from Wilson to Kearse). Carolina absolutely dominated the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball and, quite honestly, we had no business winning this game. Carolina's D-front was in our backfield harassing Wilson on every play and Cam had all day to throw on every play. I was very impressed with Cam's play and composure. We just managed to execute on a couple more plays than Carolina did and I feel fortunate to come out of there with a win. Once Cam gets more used to the new offense that team has all the tools needed to cause some serious damage in that division.

As for us, my two biggest observations are 1) Wow, do we sure miss MRob in the running game and 2) Wow, do we sure have some work to do on both sides of the line of scrimmage. Another performance like that in the trenches is not going to get it done against SF next week, home game or no.

For the most part, those guys are pretty cool over there. Not as cool as the Browns fans were a couple years ago, but pretty close.

GG. I was worried about your DL before the game, and they were better than I imagined. Your LBs were fast to the ball in the run as well.

Biggest surprise was Cam. This wasn't the same Cam I saw a few times last year when I caught the Panthers. He was taking what the defense would give him against the zone, and making wow throws consistently. I figured this game would be tough, and it was. Raise hell in the NFC South.

Nice. Is the link to their forum still up? I think I will sign up just to tell them how classy they are. Totally impressed and as I said in another thread, I think they might be a wildcard threat. That's a good team they have. Especially if Cam keeps progresssing like in this game.
