It is great to be able to come here and decompress a little before resuming my afternoon. Otherwise, I end up being an insufferable dick to my family and friends on an otherwise beautiful day in the Pacific NW. I'm pissed, but it helps me to get a little frame of reference when I read the words of a few "chicken little" posters here. Kumbaya.

I had that same epiphany when I first joined a couple of iterations of .net ago.

It was after a loss, and I just typed "Seahawks" into a browser and .net came up. Lo and behold, people taking
the loss much harder than me and also people putting it into better perspective than I was able.

I've been a beat-down, hardened Hawks fan for far too long to get upset over losing a 10 am road game against a quality opponent. I knew we weren't gonna go 16-0, and if I chose a game to lose, this would be one of them. We get a pass for this loss, I think. I used to get as angry as a lot of the people on here, but now it's just an "oh, well, we'll get 'em next week". Now if we had lost at home against the Panthers? Yes, I would have been screaming bloody murder if that had happened. But not this game when we're all banged up on offense. The D just didn't come to play today for some reason. They'll get it fixed.

What I thought before the season was we needed to start 4-1, what i thought going into Houston is we need to split these games. The loss was heartbreaking but the team has still accomplished what they need to accomplish so far

:13: There's a lot of games on the sked that would hurt our playoff chances much worse than this one.

Nobody likes to lose, but I'm OK with 4-1. I mean, how many times in franchise history have we been able to say that, anyway?
