For some reason we have more action on a thread complaining about a player that didn't lose us this game, than on guys that made it possible for us to win this game.

If there is an All Hail Walker/K9 thread I must have missed it.

K9 was terrible for a while. He was a homerun hitter with a terrible BA, because of his tendency to dance/stop with the ball. It lost him momentum, any chance at falling forward, made him more likely to be tackled for a loss or minimal gain, etc. We almost could only use him if he could break contain and made it up the sidelines. (One reason in GL we tended to use Charbonnet). But something happened. A switch flipped and he started just one cut and run. He started to be able to get yards up the middle.

There was a time when many Seahawk fans, myself included, absolutely did not trust Walker with the ball on 3rd and 1 or 2. God forbid 3. But he was ripping off not just long runs, but 4 and 5 yards up the middle.
We don't win homefield in that 2nd Rams game without that chance in Walker. We don't win last night either.

Walker turning the corner was massive for this team. Probably the biggest difference besides Darnold (in changes that made this run possible).
And people would rather complain about Woolen? I am hearing very little about Walker, when his overcoming his issues was just as critical as Darnold overcoming his was.

K9 has been a joy to watch this year. He is bringing his A game every week, and living up to all that potential we knew was in there. It's especially great that he's doing it now, when there's no Zach to help him out. We needed him and he has delivered.

#1 priority this off-season.

Count me in as a guy that thought we’d be better off starting CharBone and that K9 could walk.

Now, I don’t think it matters who starts. All I know is that our two-headed monster that fits our ‘complimentary football’ mindset that coach talks about, is the only thing that matters.

Re-sign K9 immediately. He’s one of the best in the league. Zach’s right there with him.

We are blessed. Call me greedy but, I want to stay blessed.

I went into this season on the fence with K9. The second half of the season and playoffs, he is the driving force for this offense. Dude has been nails.

Couldn't agree more. Its understandable that he didn't flourish under the OCs and coaching we had prior to Kubiak. It took a competent OC with a real scheme and real teaching points to turn him from an unreal talent who brought raw ability to every play to an NFL running back who understands assignment, understands how to read blocks and plays situationally smart ball.

Dude has been killing it lately. As much live as JSN gets, do we even have a chance at OT if Walker doesn't hit the explosive catch and then the explosive run against the Rams in the Thursday night game?

He punished the 9ers and had some great, timely runs against the Rams yesterday.

Flowers indeed.

He's going to get PAID now.
For the half of a season when he stopped being ass.
I give him credit for turning it around but I'm not paying him
top dollar, he can go if he's wanting that, we can draft one, sign
one ect there are options, you don't get stupid and pay everyone
top dollar over a SB, we did this before and it blew up in our faces.

So how much do you think JS should offer K9?

Think you are forced to now with the charbonnet injury. He's likely out most of next year. If we don't i think someone does

Certainly, some team will as he is a FA, we have options - RBs
are plenty out there.
