Just having a reliable TE who can catch and block is so key for this team. IMO he is better all around compared to Vannett and cheaper too. Great move snagging him.

Didn't hear what his injury was yesterday. I know he went back in and seems to have finished the game, but I never heard what he sat out those plays for and whether it was something to worry about.

He suffered a rib injury, I don't remember seeing the play it happened on, maybe the dump off pass where he picked up the first down?...Which was HUGE by the way, I really feel that if they gave more check downs for Russ he wouldn't take as many sacks.

I'm so glad we resigned him to his contract. Lots of people said he was a "Game manager" ... duh ...
