After this week we play 4 straight games (with a bye week sprinkled in between) under the lights. Those on the East Coast will suffer from sleep deprivation for the beginning of the work week for the next month but a win always makes it easier to deal with. :irishdrinkers:

As much as I love the night games (not as much at home as in the past) the one thing that I really like is that you're guaranteed a full day of Red Zone :2thumbs:
Other than home Sunday Night Football game, any other prime time Hawks game assures a full day of Red Zone, bonus.
Also, the Hawks' prime time record is unreal under Pete. The team flat out gets up for those games way more often than not.

I, like you, watch Red Zone exclusively when the Hawks aren't on. That channel is just gold, so I'm with you on that :2thumbs:

And you got me wondering what there official record is under Carroll in Primetime ( which I knew was pretty stellar)
In primetime 27-5-1 under Carroll (since 2010), best in the NFL. 2nd best are the Patriots 33-9. Quite the run they're on. :snack:

Well, after we give all those other teams 1 loss per week, the schedule won't be rated as #1 toughest anymore. Then the media will be all "Just look at how easy their second-half schedule was."

Years and years of games vs. really good teams in Prime time that so many in the media (and the fans) assumed the Hawks would lose. So many teams heading home with a loss. Nothing would surprise me with the Hawks when it comes to prime time. Shoot, when KC came to town so many people picked against us. 17-2 in home prime time games since 2010. That's not a coincidence, they get up for these games better than any team in the league.

For as tough as this stretch is going to be, the prime time scheduling gives me hope!

I hope “Pete Ball” gets shelved for a month, if not there will be some embarrassing loses upcoming on national tv.

Not too many embarrassing losses over the years on prime time under Pete. But yep, gotta' be willing to open it up IF something isn't working. Not just in the 4th quarter.

I'll be kind of surprised if neither of the Sunday games are flexed. Seahawks at Eagles when they are 4-4, and Seahawks at Rams which has limited interest outside the West coast. I won't predict what will happen but I think it's unlikely that we play four prime time games in a row.

(Obviously the MNF games are both set in stone and also should have strong national appeal, potential to be good games and so on.)

Embarrassing losses and Pete don't go hand and hand, espically in primetime but continue to dog on the dude because he's not Andy Reid. People would rather lose pretty then win any way.

I was kinda worried about some of them being flexed, but with where all those teams are at unless there is a major implosion somewhere I think that all should maintain their spots..i am psyched.

Being from the Netherlands primetime games kinda suck for me. But if it means more wins then yay.
Will haven to catch some sleep before the games and maybe some after before heading to work

The same Andy Reid who gets his team to the championship game but can't seem to get them to the Super Bowl? He did it once anyway and then his QB puked on him :stirthepot:

So long as the Eagles have a chance to turn their season around I disagree. Records aside, Seahawks vs Rams checks off a lot of boxes. Teams with championships or deep playoff success in recent years. Good to great QB play, rabid fan base(except for Rams). I doubt those get flexed. If you think about it, what other matchups are that great?

Praying to the football gods that none of these games are flexed out. It's the only way I can DVR the Hawks vs seeing on a boot stream on cracked lap screen with bad audio. Before the Rams came to LA, you could get lucky and see a couple of Hawk games, but as the minions at network think all California is the same, we always get Rams.
