Agreed that the Oline sucked but Geno doesn't help himself. He needs to be more aware of rushers in the pocket and use his legs more. Too many times he just stands there and takes the sack. Scramble and run Geno run. Stop with the business decisions or whatever it is.
Even Matthew Stanford was bootlegging the whole game

I still can't believe that people honestly think there's a real market out there for Geno. I'm not saying he's a bad QB, or anything like that. But I just don't see the teams out there who would give him the going rate for starting QB's now at his age and having never won a playoff game. He's a boom or bust type QB, not good in the redzone when it counts, and lacking the savvy between the ears too often that I'd want in my longer term starting QB.

I don't know where to start with this. I know there is a lot of Geno fans on here, but I'm not one of them. Even when Smith was on the jets behind a WAY better O-line he still was getting sacked and doing stupid things. The problem with Smith is he doesn't adjust very well. With s better O-line Geno may be a little better but I'm still not convinced. I still don't understand how Smith is 6'4 and getting batted at the line more than once. I think Smith is done. Just play the guy until the end of the season and move on with someone else next season.

He was terrible. He could’ve easily had 5 picks and two fumbles. Two red zone picks alone are beyond bad.

There is zero market for Geno as I said a few weeks ago. His age, attitude, inconsistency etc who’s signing him? Who’s a ln average QB away from winning it all? Making the playoffs? People love to sore his efficiency stats while ignoring how bad he is in the red zone which is where it matters the most.

He definitely doesn’t warrant a new contract, unless it’s a one year vet minimum.

Yup, Smith is trying to be QB that he is not. I'm not hating on the guy, I'm just saying it's time to move on.

Geno continues to be an average to slightly above average QB behind a genuinely offensive oline.

He was bad. How many think if we had switched the Rams QB's we would have won this game? I am going to think Stafford behind our O-Line would have been on season ending IR in one series.

This was the second week in a row that Stafford wasn't sacked a single time, and he was sacked just once the week prior. Not sure how much of that is on their OL, but would sure be nice to see here. You have to go back five games combined for the Rams to match the seven Geno took today alone.

It’s not all of it but Stafford is miles better of getting rid of the football and not taking the sack too. Geno has been struggling with that as of late

What I posted on the Trade Geno thread...

Come on guys. Geno ONLY sucks because _______________________________ (insert reason that is not Geno's fault)

Then select ONE
a.) NO QB in the history of the NFL could do well if they replaced Geno.
b.) If only the Coach had called different plays.
c.) If only the other players would have played better.
d.) If only JS had signed and drafted better players.
e.) Just wait until you see him:
i. Next Game
ii. Next Season
iii. After the Bye Week.
iv. AFTER we sign him to a HUGE extension.
Start a new poll.
