Looks like if Geno throws for 186 yards he gets a 2 million dollar bonus and if the Seahawks win one more game he alao gets another 2 million dollars. That a lot of money on the line for Geno in week 18.

Just as long as he doesn't throw 186 picks
Naw, he will only throw 3 or 4 that should be picked hopefully lol. I'm hoping we win though, let's end the season with some hype. Last game of the year unfortunetly, but I'll still be watching

I don’t care if he gets them or not. In fact, if it somehow benefits the team salary cap wise I hope he doesn’t. Though likely it doesn‘t.

Release him. Move on. Do better. He will NEVER get the team deep into the playoffs.

It's an interesting dilemma. If we wanted to start Sam Howell, how would the locker room handle what could be perceived as the Hawks getting cheap and screwing Geno out of some money?

There are a few "fans" on this board who would love that just for that reason. :(

Exactly…good luck getting free agents to sign here too with that reputation of leadership. You have to let him play for those incentives

Does Dan Campbell's decision to play to win in a meaningless game have an impact on MMac and other coaches this week? It seems pretty obvious DC is building a culture that most teams would want to copy. Any Coach would have a hard time convincing fans/players that watched that game it was the wrong decision....

It's meaningless in terms of the playoffs, true. But think about this - if the Seahawks win, they're tied with the division winners. Yes, the Rams win the tiebreakers. But after all the crap this season, and the complaints about the offense, both teams would be 10-7.

It sounds like Geno is starting:

Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald said the team doesn't plan on playing backup quarterback Sam Howell in their Week 18 regular-season finale on Sunday against the division-rival Los Angeles Rams.
