He ran it in on a broken play. I don’t think he is the savior cause of this win
exactly it was a broken play so why is the win on Grubb? He was super clutch on both the last two drives.

I think it's fair to credit Geno for successfully taking advantage of the opportunity presented to him. I think it is also fair to say he did not play very well for much of the game. He seems to do that in spurts. Spurts between the 20s. Running it in was a much better choice than risking his decision making by throwing it. He did the right thing when it mattered most and I could not be happier about that.

I think it's fair to say that his negative play has been quite overstated.

This is insane. 16 CPOE on a fairly deep ADOT? Nuts.

It’s not overstated though and it could’ve cost you the game. That’s the point with Geno, he can do a lot of things well and then make horrible decisions at times that does cost us. The game winning drive was a thing of beauty too, it’s all true.

People hate passer rating and QBR in here because both have Geno as below average this year but they have merit as well. You have to look at Geno in totality.

I also think Geno deserves credit for the game winning touchdown, he took advantage of an opening and capitalized on it

80-yard drive for the winning score. 7 completions out of 8 attempts. Only one timeout, little margin for error. Runs when he needs to. How is he not responsible for the win?

He absolutely was nails that last drive. The defense gave up 17 points on the road. They are just as much a part of the win as Geno was. Without that stop on defense after the offense couldn't get one damn yard on 2 plays....they don't even the chance to win that game.
Team win for sure.

I agree. What I meant to say was that the game-winning TD was no fluke as some were saying. He was money that whole drive.
