I think we are all a bit surprised to see Logan not pitching game 1. Castillo makes a ton of sense in game 2 as he’s much better at home and already defeated Skubal twice in the regular season.

I will say, it feels like a lot of pressure on us to win game 1 with Skubal going in game 2. But in the end, we should win game 1 as we have such a pitching advantage. Tigers will basically have a bullpen day with a very mediocre pen. I just hate that it feels like a must win, even though we very much should win.

pay him like one.
