I see what you're saying, I just keep seeing cover 3. Maxwell deep third, Thurmond in the flat, Chancellor and the LB's in their hook zones. Nobody looks for their man to cover, every single one of them stares down Kap and proceeds into their zones. The giveaway to me is Chancellor. If he's in man, he turns to cover Davis on the out route, rather than feeling and flowing. When the play happened, I had the same reaction. I thought wow, what a play by Thurmond coming off his guy to break that up, but looking a little closer, I just don't think that was the case.
