Flying in from PA for home opener - Where to stay?

Anywhere from Lumen Field in the South to the Space Needle in the North will do for some sight-seeing as well as easy access to get to the stadiums.

Choose something that fits your budget then ask for opinions.

thank you everyone for all the responses and suggestions. for more context i will probably fly in Monday and fly out Friday. Since ive never been to Seattle we will do all the tourist stuff like the space needle, pop culture museum, etc. With that said would staying by the airport still be the best option to be able to travel around and site see a bit on Tuesday and Thursday. Wednesday will just be the baseball and football game.

Don't stay at the airport unless it's a financial thing.

I'm seeing lots of options under $300/night for your dates in the downtown core.
Hotel Max looks fairly reasonable still.

Nope. Lots of places north of the stadium and around the space needle. Check reviews for places within your budget…but that’s the area to stay that’s central to most popular things to see and the light rail to assist.

Been a seahawks fan for 44 years and never made the journey from Pennsylvania. I kept telling my 11 year old every week starting end of Oct last year if they keep winning were going to the banner drop. Well they called my bluff.

So where is a good spot of town to stay in that would be close enough to the stadiums but far enough away from any riff raff. If its farther away and you suggest we travel in thats fine as well. Not sure how easy public transportation is to the stadiums. We will be going to the baseball game as well.

Sorry if this is the wrong area for said question but feel free to move if need be. Any travel advice tips for the seattle area would be appreciated.

Check Bainbridge Island. They have lodging close enough to the ferry system to walk, once you get to Seattle, you are right in down town and a 15 minute walk to the stadium and it's a lovely island. bainbridge island

One food suggestion, whenever i have made the trip to Seattle for a game I always try and have a meal at the Crab Pot down by the waterfront. Maybe the locals won't agree!
