Anyone know how to get a patch off a jersey? Ordered an XLIX Chancellor jersey just before last Super Bowl. Need to get the XLIX patch off and this new one on. Am guessing you would apply some heat from an iron carefully and it should come off like it goes on. Would appreciate some info from anyone who removed an XLVIII patch from a Bronco's jersey to put on their Seahawk's jersey.

That is what I figured I would try, but since so many had talked about ordering a Donko's SB jersey to get an XLVIII patch off of, that someone might have advice on how to remove one from first hand experience.

Be careful using heat.
You may find that the heat that was used to apply the patch originally, changed the chemical structure of the glue.

It may take a lot more heat to remove than the fabric can endure.
I would apply any heat from the back/inside and not the front.

I've never tried this on a football jersey and chromaflex patch but I have tried to remove other items applied with heat sensitive glue.

Nope, exact size. Google photos of Maragos in SB 48, then look at the photo I posted of the patch sitting on my game used jersey.
