...was a thing of beauty, other than the holding penalty on Sweezy and the sack.

Although we don't game plan in pre-season, I suspect those plays were scripted as we would normally do in the regular season. A good decision by Wilson to scramble, a nice long completion to Willson on 3rd and 9, a nice long completion to Baldwin on 3rd and 8.

I liked it.

Keep in mind we have been playing without Rice and Miller, and last night was without Robinson also. Those are three HUGE pieces of the offense.

Well, this is (was) the warm up game. Part of a normal game is to script the first few plays. I wouldn't be surprised if they did.

I have to assume those were scripted plays. Hawks looked fast, energetic, confident, and executed well.

Also, the whole night the running game looked good. Why they would play their RB stars is beyond me. Is Fitzy going to get better playing in the preseason?

Unfortunately, when that drive stalled, the wheels came off. RW didn't have the presence I expected when under pressure. The penalties were outrageous.

I'm sure it will work itself out.

We're miles ahead of where we were at this time last year. That's what is giving me optimism and excitement.

I think Wilson needs to relax a little bit and just play football. He almost looks like he's trying to exceed very high expectations and is pushing a bit.
