I hate fantasy football.

Also, wtf is this projection for Darnold?

So he's going to throw less TDs this year? F*ck that noise!

He's going to at least throw 30 TDs (or more). 😤
By one touchdown. You don't have to score as many points when your defense is elite. More likely to run the ball and chew clock

I think this projection ignores some of the details around the Seahawks offense.

1. new coordinator. who knows what the impact of this will be. There may be some growing pains. that's the potential negative.
2. that new coordinator was a TE coach and is likely to utilize the very good TEs in this offense more than Kubiak did.
3. the RBs are new and unproven. OK, only Price is really new, but I wouldn't call Holani 'proven'. My own guess is that the running game in particular is going to start slowly, meaning more passing.
4. Darnold has the chance to build some chemistry with Shaheed. Shaheed was underutilized when he came in mid-year, and never really developed a good rapport with Darnold. I think that changes with a full training camp, and our passing game is more dynamic than just "throw the ball at JSN". Last year there was a 1200 yard difference between JSN and our #2, Kupp. That can't continue IMO.
5. I also think Darnold reduces the turnovers. He seemed to turn over a new leaf in the last quarter of the season and into the playoffs. I think his comfort level with his role and this team will result in less pressing.
