You're truly gonna' die on this hill. I'm actually impressed with your stubbornness.
Pretty sure McSpikeyhair has already said he wanted Murphy.
F the Rams, and F Verse. They clearly love him SOOOOO much they traded him.
I get it though. I dig my feet in on stuff too.
Yeah, they gave him up for basically nothing, just the DPOY who set the sack record. If the Browns wanted Bustron, Garrett would be here. Even they're smarter than that.

Fair enough. I'm good with Murphy. No need to waste any time dwelling on players from other teams. And I couldn't care less about the Browns or the Rams. Seahawks are SB Champs. McCrybaby wanted Murphy. This is no secret.

Every year, these lists end up the same for Seattle, very little attention is given to the players on that squad. I can think of JSN, Spoonman, and Emmanwori that would get any recognition. I'm a bit shocked EJ even made the list, dude is a lowkey workhorse.

We all (dotnet/12th Man) know that the DL is stacked, TEs can ball out, and let's not forget about a QB that does everything a coach would want to get the win on any given day.

People are so obsessed with stats. DT is not a position where (unless you're Aaron Donald) you're gonna' rack up stats.
It's the attention you bring, the havoc you reek. I will never understand how some people only look at stats. The league of full of great players that contribute big time to their success. Just because they don't have "stats" doesn't mean they're not a beast for their team.

Plus, this thread is about Ernest Jones. And somehow it turned into Murphy is a bust talk. Yes, I contributed..........so much shame.

EJ - beast
BM - not a bust
SH............strange dude

May ruffle some feathers here, but that seems about right. He is one of very few who can fill the symbiotic role that he does in Macdonald's defensive scheme. The scheme makes him look better, and he makes the scheme look better.

He was solid to great in LA, and looked fairly similar in Tennessee, but the defense there didn't do him any favors. I don't think he would have the same level of importance and success on almost any other team.
Interesting take.

Schneider probably saw enough when he was terrorizing Seattle a few seasons back. Slick aquisition.

Is this the player voted list? That one is always all over and tends to not have much correlation with stats or plays made on the field in general.

Yup, it's the players-voted list. Because of that, it tends to have more over-the-hill players and fewer younger players in the top 100.

Too low, EJ is simply amazing with the heart of a lion and he has improved the entire defense. I want to see EJ at least top 50.

That's debatable. At the very least, fans still overrate the crap out of him. He's not a bust in that he's in danger of being cut or anything, but if we were debating between he, Jared Verse, and Quinyon Mitchell at the time, we unquestionably got the worst of the three, so he's a bit of a disappointment in that respect then. I'll give Schneider a little bit of a pass since it was his first draft running solo, even though it was an embarrassment between this and the Christian Haynes disaster, but it really illustrated how critical Pete was to the operation, considering it came a year after their all-time draft.

I'm keeping the moniker anyway.
Come on man how can you say he's overrated? He's a top 10 DT by most accounts and on the verge of being maybe the best in the league. I just saw a segment on ESPN where guys predict he will be exactly that by years end. Heck I'd argue he's more valuable than Williams right now even if many disagree.

You sure love claiming that half the Hawks roster is either busts, overrated or just plain not good.
Do you like any of the players?

/sarcasm
