Excellent start to this year's list. #97 might feel a little low for EJ, but when you think about it, that means he's one of the three best players on the average team, which seems more than fair.

We should be well represented. Here's my prediction for the others:

#5 JSN
#34 Spoon
#45 Leonard Williams
#74 Darnold (QBs tend to be rated highly on these)
#83 Emmanwori
#88 Bustron (there's always a weird one on there)

In addition to EJ, that makes seven, which feels like a lot. I'm pretty comfortable predicting that many though. Should be eight, but they don't have the balls to rank Dickson.

May ruffle some feathers here, but that seems about right. He is one of very few who can fill the symbiotic role that he does in Macdonald's defensive scheme. The scheme makes him look better, and he makes the scheme look better.

He was solid to great in LA, and looked fairly similar in Tennessee, but the defense there didn't do him any favors. I don't think he would have the same level of importance and success on almost any other team.

So, Murphy is still a bust? Just checking. ✌️
That's debatable. At the very least, fans still overrate the crap out of him. He's not a bust in that he's in danger of being cut or anything, but if we were debating between he, Jared Verse, and Quinyon Mitchell at the time, we unquestionably got the worst of the three, so he's a bit of a disappointment in that respect then. I'll give Schneider a little bit of a pass since it was his first draft running solo, even though it was an embarrassment between this and the Christian Haynes disaster, but it really illustrated how critical Pete was to the operation, considering it came a year after their all-time draft.

I'm keeping the moniker anyway.

Anything is debatable...your assertion is incorrect. If you are a stat junkie, then sure...BM doesn't always light up the board.

But the dude is as important as any other player on our DLine, including Big Cat.

Which is why McVay was desperate to want to call John Schneider to seek a trade at 18 and grab Murphy...

97 is too low he's top 50 easy
INTs...He had "7 of them thangs!" (Per NFL he only got 6, but I think they're wrong.)

What MLB gets 7 ints?

AI Overview:

"Only a handful of prominent linebackers in NFL history have logged exactly 7 interceptions in a single season. [1, 2]
Notable Linebackers with 7 Interceptions in a Season:

  • Don Shinnick (1959): The Baltimore Colts outside linebacker recorded 7 interceptions in 1959, the year he famously led the entire NFL in interceptions. [1]
  • Jon Beason (2007): The Carolina Panthers middle linebacker intercepted 7 passes during an incredible rookie campaign. [1]
  • Tremaine Edmunds: After signing with the Chicago Bears in 2023, the middle linebacker totaled 7 interceptions between 2023 and mid-2025, which ranked as the most by any NFL linebacker during that span"
Who was the fastest linebacker in NFL history? AI Overview:

"Shaquem Griffin is widely recognized as the fastest linebacker in NFL history, having recorded the fastest 40-yard dash for a linebacker at the NFL Scouting Combine with a blazing time of 4.38 seconds in 2018"

If you accidentally type "Fattest"

Who is the fattest linebacker? AI Overview

Levon Kirkland, who played for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Philadelphia Eagles from 1992 to 2002, is widely considered the heaviest linebacker in NFL history, officially listed at 270 pounds (122 kg) during his playing career.

He offered a late third to the Colts to trade back in the first. "Desperate" is a stretch if that's all they were willing to give. He got the better player staying still anyway. And that's if it was even Murphy he wanted.

You're truly gonna' die on this hill. I'm actually impressed with your stubbornness.
Pretty sure McSpikeyhair has already said he wanted Murphy.
F the Rams, and F Verse. They clearly love him SOOOOO much they traded him.
I get it though. I dig my feet in on stuff too.

It's like my ex wife used to say, "You're so damn stubrun!"

I thought it was very endearing, however, i didn't feel the same way about the cheating. 🤔
