Same. I put the order in right after that.Noice. Just got his jersey last month. Once he said what he said at the parade........it was decided.
Yes. And there's plenty of posts explaining why.So, Murphy is still a bust? Just checking.![]()
That's debatable. At the very least, fans still overrate the crap out of him. He's not a bust in that he's in danger of being cut or anything, but if we were debating between he, Jared Verse, and Quinyon Mitchell at the time, we unquestionably got the worst of the three, so he's a bit of a disappointment in that respect then. I'll give Schneider a little bit of a pass since it was his first draft running solo, even though it was an embarrassment between this and the Christian Haynes disaster, but it really illustrated how critical Pete was to the operation, considering it came a year after their all-time draft. So, Murphy is still a bust? Anything is debatable...your assertion is incorrect. If you are a stat junkie, then sure...BM doesn't always light up the board. That's debatable. I'm keeping the moniker anyway.
Which is why McVay was desperate to want to call John Schneider to seek a trade at 18 and grab Murphy...That's debatable. At the very least, fans still overrate the crap out of him. INTs...He had "7 of them thangs!" (Per NFL he only got 6, but I think they're wrong.)97 is too low he's top 50 easy
He offered a late third to the Colts to trade back in the first. "Desperate" is a stretch if that's all they were willing to give. He got the better player staying still anyway. And that's if it was even Murphy he wanted.Which is why McVay was desperate to want to call John Schneider to seek a trade at 18 and grab Murphy...
