After Week 3, there aren't many teams ahead of Seattle. Oh hey, zero, as a matter of fact:
Had me at "thank God Pete Carroll is gone".THank God Pete Carroll is gone! Loved what he did, but he started acting like any move he made was genius.
I think ST impacted the box score more than anything. The O didn't punt until the 4th qtr. TOP and Total Yds are both skewed b/c of short field position.Special teams has been a pleasant surprise. They looked horrible in preseason, but maybe it was because they were giving those snaps to the scrubs to see if anyone would stand out. Either way, I owe Jay Harbaugh an apology.
I don't believe the offensive rating is going to stay at 6th though. We had a ton of breaks in the opening of this game to put up 28 points on our first 10 offensive snaps. That's not going to happen again. The box score was pretty even in this game except for the scoreboard.
This defense though is legit! And there's things MM said haven't been put in yet since Emmanwori got hurt right out of the gate...
Agree on all counts but I think there are teams ranked ahead of us that will not sustain.I think ST impacted the box score more than anything. The O didn't punt until the 4th qtr. TOP and Total Yds are both skewed b/c of short field position.
Biggest concern on O is the run game IMO...not terrible, but can be significantly better. Pass Pro, QB, and WR's all clicking at a high level.
Might not stay at 6, but don't rule out a move up the ranks either.
