SF has some big names on the team and prior to injuries were probably the 2nd best team in football behind the Eagles. I can see why someone would have them first. The Rams made the playoffs and played well on the road. We did not make the playoffs and lost DK. We swapped Geno for Darnold and picked up no big names so far so putting us at third is defensible. But if we are +600 then AZ should be +1000.

In theory Arizona should be able to close the talent gap with the Rams, 49ers, and Seahawks. But reality is that the Rams, 49ers and Seahawks have plenty of draft picks to work with too.

While I don't disagree with that assessment of the NFC West, I think that this coming season is more wide open than in past years with more unknowns. I honestly have no idea where the Seahawks will end up this year.

All three teams, Rams, 49ers, Cards, are like boogers that get stuck to your finger after picking your nose. You try your hardest to flick em off, but they just get stuck to the other side of your finger...

I honestly don't know what to expect. If Seattle won the division or came in last, it would be no surprise to me. There's way to many different pieces for any kind of legit predictions or expectations.

Would love for the former to happen and for Sam to play well so people can't say "Well..derp herpity derp...it was the Defense" as the reason.

Also currently the 49ers do not have any semblance of a quality D line . They are going to have to hit on a few key D lineman in the draft

Somewhat mentioned already, but odds on a betting site are not what the experts think. They are what the experts think the fans think, and their goal is even money on both sides of the line.

Anyway, I’d guess that line is set by a house betting on the more casual fans not realizing just how much turnover the SF roster has seen. I think they need a year or two before they’re a legit contenders again. And I think Stafford gets dinged and the Rams struggle a little…and probably beat us at home with a backup QB

I think the Seahawks currently have 1 of the least explosive offenses in the NFL and they'll struggle to generate chunk plays. Typically teams with such characteristics end up with losing records.

...but it's still early and the Seahawks could make big roster changes with their Draft picks.

Win/loss correlation from a LB is dubious at best. And yes Greenlaw can be replaced. And the 49ers front seven will be replenished as GM Lynch know this all too well.

It has been 5 or six years since we have won the division. Should have won it last year while we were learning how to be good again. Should have swept the Rams but came up just a little short at home in the early game.
We're gonna win it! Sweep the Rams and we're on our way.
