We’re actually becoming the sexy pick to rep the NFC at the SB

If played on a neutral field what NFC team would be a significant favorite over a healthy-ish Seahawks team right now?

Packers
Lions
Bucs
Rams
Eagles
A neutral field? That's tough.

At our house? Any of them might beat us. We need to string to together some semblance of home field advantage. Or do our best to be a wild card instead of winning the division. :p

We are really starting to look like contenders, just going down the league leader stats:

Offense #5 points/game
Defense #6 points/game

Sam Darnold #3 QBR @ 116
JSN #1 yards, #8 ypc
Dareke Young #2 KR yards
Troy Horton #4 PR yards

Our run game is meh, but I think it would be adequate if K9 would stop trying to bounce zone runs (which always turn into negative plays). Our kick coverage game is a little weak too, but still, we're in a good place and getting better.

I found the NFL.com power rankings interesting this week in regards to the NFC West especially.

3 Seahawks
7 Rams
15 49ers
24 Cardinals

I know the Niners are beat up but they still lead the division. 15 is really a lack of any faith.

I’m a homer for sure and the fact our two losses could easily be wins bodes well for us but even I’d say 3 is a bit high right now (but I’ll take it)
I think the loss to the Bucs combined with them losing Fred Warner for the year affected the rankings.

2 muck ups from undefeated but nobody goes undefeated anymore this league is too tough. The screwed up thing is we’re probably getting swept by the 49ers due to us resting starters last week for playoffs

I would rather they have all starters out there and just send a message to the Whiners that we would've owned that ass if we played like we were supposed to.

But the reality is yeah...we will be resting starters. BOOOO!

EDIT : oh yeah...they'll be resting Starters, too as I think they'll find themselves as the wildcard in the playoffs somehow.

(would be hilarious if Drew Lock led backups to a win over them, though)

This is where we differ - I think they will be resting starters on the IR

Passrush propped up the backfield last game. In-game adjustment could have helped Jags and if TLawrence wasn't hearing footsteps he could have taken advantage of mediocre coverage. Maybe CB room gets healthy. Maybe DHall comes back and increases pressure.... I don't know if TX has the protection for Stroud to make it happen, but it doesn't seem like rocket science. The Bucs did it and many other playoff teams will see it. It'll play out one way or another but it's tough to equate the current cb situation with NFCC game...that's just me. To me, #3 seems more like "hope" than "expect" or "predict".

You're referring to something that we shouldn't even think about until the playoffs come around.

Right now it's after 6 games going into Week 7.

We are trying to find a way to get to 5-2 against a very tough Texans team so we can go into the bye and hopefully get every one of our Top Defensive players back from injury after the bye.

I like to think we are up there as stated. I mean we barely lost to the Bucs and the Niners, really beating ourselves those games with costly mistakes. I agree that the running game needs work and maybe a true threat to compliment JSN. Those wishes are another season out, do I see us seeing the Superbowl this season...probably not...but never say never and especially if we are going to play soft while leading the game in the fourth quarter..that crap needs to stop. Just say'n.
