Ochocinco is slow as hell now. Unless he transforms, like Anquan Boldin, into a big-bodied guy with a big catch radius that can shield guys off and make tough catches regularly, I don't know that he would be useful to us.

But if the staff does see a bit of Boldin in him, maybe they bring him in if Chris Harper needs some pushing.

And yes, I know this is "my sister's boyfriend's hairdresser" stuff that I doubt actually means anything, but I'm just trying to figure out what a useful Eight Five would look like in terms of what we have on this team.

Boldin was always a physical receiver with a wide catch radius. He never "transformed." Sign TO again if you are looking for a WR with Boldin's mold because Ochocinco absolutely cannot make that transformation

Agreed. I see what you're saying. Like Boldin, Ocho has lost his agility and therefore would have to rely on other physical attributes to compete in the NFL. I'm just not convinced Ocho has the body frame to do it

Ocho isn't slow as hell now. He just did a video showing him working out and the guy still has speed. Of course not his prime speed but still faster than most. With that said, he'd have to play for the minimum and be all in for me to excited about that pickup.
