I think JS did a good job of not pigeonholing us. We literally can draft any position. With 10-15 first round grades in this draft (I've heard) it would be sweet if teams above us get caught up in qbs and a blue chip player falls to us.
That being said, if there are 2nd round quality players until midway through the 4th having so many picks is amazing.
So we don't need to go for Oline at pick 18 if they have the same grade on 20 players at the same position. I would love a 1st round quality guard if one was there, but if not bpa.
It's a perfect draft to add quality on both lines and we are set up perfectly for it. I'm stoked.
However we may be in position to upgrade both lines and get a 1st round quality player at another position, and if that's a WR, then I say hell yes.

I can't take any of these people seriously who have the Seahawks selecting a wide receiver with the 18th overall pick. You have a defensive minded head coach who probably feels he's really close to making this unit elite. You have a GM who says he hears everybody loud and clear about the offensive line. DK was traded. We get it. That doesn't mean you're using your first overall pick on a receiver. It's just lazy analysis.

So is "a defensive minded coach will always take a defender with a first-round pick."

Likelier he'll go BPA.
