The custom shop will/can put the words "Super Bowl" on the name plate of a jersey.
If they will, I'll be ordering one with the #48.
Cool idea huh?

I would bet it is possible. They usually allow reasonable customization unless they think it is profane. Great idea!

I can't say for 100%, but I went to the NFLSHOP.com website and went to the custom jerseys and it just had to be within 10 characters, so I made one and it allowed it. Of course I didn't complete the order, but I would assume it would be ok. Worst thing that can happen is if you order it they cancel it on you, but I doubt they would.

There absolutely is and if anyone uses it without being an NFL partner they'll be served with a very quick cease and desist order, but you are ordering from an official NFL partner (assuming you order through an NFL legal merchandiser..even Fanatics gets their stuff from the NFL).

If you go order one, only two things can happen, they can tell you no you can't order it, or they make it and send it. I say if you want one, go order it and see what happens. if it works, you can report back here and let people know...you may just start a trend

Order is placed. Not sure if it will get kicked back or not. Says will ship by Feb 13th.
I wanted grey but they didn't have my size. Went with white.

I'll have to add the patch my self, they are not offering it already applied at this time.

I just went back and looked because it said 10 for me and noticed that it is 10 characters on the game jersey but it's 12 characters for the elite Jersey...When I checked earlier I just clicked the first one I saw assuming they would have the same stipulations. Lesson learned

Ok, that makes way more sense. So essentially there is no option to customize a limited.
